PolyLite™ PLA Pro is a first of its kind: combining high toughness and high rigidity, this professional PLA offers engineering properties with the ease of print of regular PLA.

What is the difference between PolyLite™ PLA, PolyMax™ PLA and PolyLite™ PLA Pro?
Short answer:
PolyLite™ PLA is a very rigid material with very low impact resistance.
PolyMax™ PLA is an extremely ductile material with high impact resistance and durability.
PolyLite™ PLA Pro is the best of both worlds combining excellent rigidity and high impact strength.

Printing and Drying Settings?
Printing Temperature: 190˚C – 220˚C
Bed Temperature: 30˚C – 60˚C
Printing Speed: 30mm/s – 70mm/s
Fan: ON

Direct Drive:
Retraction Distance: 1mm
Retraction Speed: 30mm/s
Indirect Drive:
Retraction Distance: 3mm
Retraction Speed: 60mm/s

Drying Settings: 55˚C for 6h
(Only if the material has absorbed moisture)

Does the Metallic effect affect the layer adhesion?
Layer Adhesion (Tensile Strength Z axis):
PolyLite PLA Pro Regular Colors: 36.49Mpa
PolyLite PLA Pro Metallic Gold/Silver/Bronze (Crystal Powder): 30.12Mpa
PolyLite PLA Pro Metallic Blue/Red/Magenta (Pearl Powder): 34.32Mpa

PolyLite PLA Silk Colors: 20.21Mpa
PolyLite PLA Carbon Fiber: 15.13Mpa

Silk PLA are very weak because of the formula change, the PLA Pro metallic is not a formula change but a color master batch optimization, the effect on the layer adhesion is minimum.

You lose 50% strength when going from regular PLA to Silk PLA.
You lose 6%-17% (depending on the color master batch changes) from PLA Pro to PLA Pro Metallic.
